Could I alter this dress?

Hi all, some advice needed on altering wedding dresses please!
So I tried on a lovely dress a couple of weeks ago (pic 1 is me wearing it). It's a morilee dress (pic 2 is the "official" picture of it).
Problem is, it's way too expensive - £1500. - I could afford it but don't want to pay that much for something I'll wear once lol.
Anyway I've found a similar thing on jjshouse.co.uk (pic 3) and I'm thinking a good seamstress could alter the neckline to be like the morilee one (although not quite as low preferably).
What do you think? Is this reasonable? I appreciate it won't look exactly the same but nearly?

It's here!!! I love it! It's a bit big but I was between sizes so got the bigger one.

Fabulous! Really pleased you got a bargain dress and it's lovely. Well done, I'm glad the gamble paid off. Super fast too.

Yeah really fast, I ordered on 17/4
Now I can order bridesmaids dresses from there - going to do custom sizing for them because they're all far away!

Looks lovely . So glad you like it Smile

Interestingly bridesmaids dresses seem quite pricey ( relatively!). Near the £100 mark whereas ASOS have nice bridesmaids dresses for under £50.

Lovely op. Although youre looking very pale in the face. Grin

I was about to respond that I am rather "pale and interesting" lol, but just realised what you meant... Good old Microsoft paint :)
