Band recommendations in the South

We're finding it hard to get a band we like and has a bit of oomph to get the party started, wedding is in Dorset next year, any suggestions?
We want a classic wedding playlist really that covers a bit of each genre!

Ooh where are you getting married?we are using soulstar (www.soulstarmusic.co.uk) who are a Dorset based band and reasonably priced for our wedding later this year.good luck with the planning.

C j Edwards band are amazing. Lots of vids on YouTube.

We used Riptide from Alive Network - they were amazing! 2 friends have booked them for their weddings off the back of ours and I couldn’t recommend them enough

Keiko Rise from Cornwall (they travel) are without doubt the best wedding band I've experienced. They have good energy, presence and create a proper buzz.

Just had a look through the suggestions, Riptide aren't my thing really as I'm not too keen on having a female vocalist I'd rather just male. Keiko rise sounded brill but looking through their set list there's not too many songs on there I'd want but I've emailed C J Edwards band for a quote they sounded brilliant thanks!

We're just waiting on the C J Edwards band to produce more of a video showreel which they said should be ready in a couple of weeks before we commit, fingers crossed as the price is good!
