Wedding dress help...

I have been for my first trying dresses on appointment today. Tried around 10-15 different dresses. I thought I had "the one" picked out before I went to the shop (found online) and I went to this specific shop because they had the dress in question in stock.

Anyway, I tried it on and then didn't like it as much as I'd hoped. So now it's not "the one" any more.

I tried some more on and I found a couple that I liked the shape of and they would look nice once fitted.

However, I didn't have the "oh my god, this is it" all birds singing, people crying, butterflies in tummy feeling about either of the dresses.

I guess I'm feeling a bit deflated and I don't know what to do next. I guess try more on? At least I've identified the style that suits.

Oh we get married in September and I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant so pretty time pressured too 😩

Any tips on where to go from here?

Can’t comment from the pregnancy side of things but definitely carry on! I tried on probably 25-30 dresses before I chose mine.

I tried on six dresses before choosing mine. I didn't have the massive "this is the one" moment, but I did feel that it looked nice, was in a style I know flatters me and had all the right bits (like boob support). My mum's eyes just lit up when she saw me so I knew it was probably a good buy.

I think stressing yourself out waiting for the zinging moment that may never come isn't worth it. Get one you like, that you feel happy in and that a trusted friend/family member says looks good.
