Are you having a church wedding?
Having been at a LOT (ex-chorister) a small number of people do actually trip over their words - it's not common but it happens, and it's no big deal
You just repeat that bit, and everyone smiles indulgently
:D

Exactly what Clivey said.
Load os people stumble over words. Let the celibrant know you are nervous and that you'd prefer smaller 'chunks' to repeat. IT will be fine. No-one is coming to a 'performance'. Smile

We once had the vicar mess up the groom's name... Now that was quite funny!
To be fair, his name was "Wolfgang"!

Me! I'm flitting between nerves and excitement. I've been having a few anxiety dreams too and was lying awake at 4am on Sunday day dreaming about the ceremony! Less than 2 months for me now. How long until your big day?

mrssunshinexxx · 26/02/2018 19:50

Thank you everyone that's helped.
3 and a bit months! Gosh 2 months isn't long at all are you all organised Smile

@mrssunshinexxx nearly there with it all now. There's some small jobs to do like the table plan and things but all the big stuff is done. Just need to pay for it all! It's like someone has speeded up time though, it's coming round very quickly now.

We had a pre-wedding photo shoot with our photographer last week and that helped ease my anxiety of being on show and what to expect. Have you got anything like that planned? I'd recommend it

mrssunshinexxx · 27/02/2018 21:12

Nooo thank you we decided against the engagement shoot is just not really us but we are meeting up with her in April just to go through the day :) oh we did the seating plan last week and luckily wasn't as bad as I was thinking it would be 😂

I was petrified about this bit but it's true what they say - you forget anyone else is there on the day Smile they give you really short chunks to say, you'll be absolutely fine!

Thelampshadelady · 27/02/2018 21:27

I didn’t like the bits where all attention was on us. I’d never anticipated feeling nervous before the day, maybe if I had I could have planned for it a bit better.
I was glad once the party was in full swing!
