Bought my dress today :)

I’m not 100% convinced but I know that I felt comfortable in it, didn’t feel as if I was playing dress up and didn’t feel ripped off by the price.

It’s so totally different to what I thought I wanted and it’s very confusing but I tried on what I thought was my perfect dress and hated it.

So, this is it - it was a size too big, so looks dodgy as in this photo, but everyone assured me it’ll be perfect when it fits properly.

This is what it should look like :) it’s ivory over dark almond.

As above - it looks better on you than in the modelled photo. Absolutely stunning dress 😊

I loooove the flowers. Not too fond of strapless dresses in general but that's just my opinion.

If you're in Melbourne, go to Brava for a good bra. They're the absolute best.

It's beautiful! I love the detailing!

How long will you have to wait for your alterations appointment? Once it's all pinned in place it'll feel even more real. How exciting!

It’s lovely, I tried on one similar. Only think worrying me is mind is an ‘illusion back’ so I can’t wear a bra and need low waist knickers. I’m a size 18 so always thought i’d Have shape wear on but I can’t 😱

PastaOfMuppets I’m in NSW but thank you so much for the suggestion. I’ve got friends in Melbourne so I will try the shop when I next visit them.

HeckyPeck the wedding isn’t until next year so I’ve got ages to go until I can wear my dress again :(

Fluffyears it’s my jiggly bits that put me off every dress that wasn’t a corset back. I know DP sees them every day but I wanted a smooth outline for once! My only suggestions would be seeing if you can have boning added to the front of the dress and good bra cups sewn into the dress.
