Register office ceremony timings

Quick question, does anybody know roughly how long a register office ceremony takes? We've just booked in for fairly short notice, and I forgot to ask. I know I could ask at the notice of marriage interviews, but they aren't until next week and I need to get cracking on booking somewhere for food after I think. Can anyone help? Thanks.

About 20-30 minutes (if that).

20mins plus another 10/15 for photos if you want them.

I was going to say 20 mins. There not much to it. Short ceremony and ten mins for some photos - imagine you’ll be through in 30 mins.

Basic is 20mins slightly longer if you add a reading and have longer vows including signing the register would say 30-40mins max.

I'm surprised it is as long as 20 minutes tbh if you just do the standard vows. We padded it out with our own version of vows, readings and music, but all of that is optional.
