Hi,
I already have a thread running about small weddings and big dresses and whether that works, but could really do with some ideas on how to achieve such an intimate wedding, without it just looking like....no one turned up
I think I may have found a venue in France, which is a very classic French, simple B&B, with stunning views and amazing food (according to reviews) but even in that setting, I'm not 100% sure I won't feel a bit strange having a handful of people there. It's literally just immediate family- 6 either side. We didn't want things to get complicated with extended family and friends. Plus, we wanted to spend more money on quality food and other things.
So, how do you decorate an area like this? I.e, a place which does cater for weddings, but doesn't have weddingy furniture....iyswim.
In the evening, ideally we'll all be gathered around one big table, having a lots of lovely food and wine and I think fairy lights would be a really simple, but elegant idea to decorate the table, but I can't really think of anything else that might not take away from the simplicity of it.
Does anyone have any ideas they'd care to share?
TIA
