Favours....

My DP and I had originally decided against wedding favours as it will be a very small, not-very-wedding-like wedding with 20 of our closest friends.

However, we have now decided to send 'thank you' gifts afterwards, to thank everyone for sharing our day with us.

As our guest list is made up of 20 of our closest friends and everyone knows each other, we were thinking of a framed group shot from the wedding and a bottle of Patron tequila (this is 'our' drink and our honeymoon will be in Mexico).

Good idea or a bit naff??

Nice to send everyone a photo of the whole group on the day, but I don't think it needs to be framed (sort of implies the ought to have it on their mantlepiece) and I don't think you need to send them a 'thank you bottle'.
Where does it stop ? Do they then send you a 'thank you', for your 'thank you' ?

I wouldn't thank you for a bottle of tequila to be honest. Photo would be nice but I would send them a nice one of themselves at the wedding, and send it electronically so they can use it as they wish.

Very true about the frame, I didn't think of it like that!

Perhaps we will just send a copy of a group shot electronically afterwards as a thank you and give the tequila on the day as favours.

Tequila is always welcome in our group 😁
