An album of family photos from birth to present day

A framed photo of mother and daughter/son?

BabyMoonPie · 05/01/2018 21:34

We gave both mums a frame on the day and a photo of us to put in it when they were back from the photographer. Frames were inexpensive from Debenhams and as we only had our photos on disk the prints were cheap from Boots

Is this a thing? It never occurred to us to do this 36 years ago when we got married.

I did a bouquet of wooden roses (kind of flowers I know)

I think traditionally you'd give the mothers a bouquet of flowers but since we need to travel it's not possible for them to bring the flowers back home.

You can buy a lucky sixpence in a little giftbox which is nice as a token gift. We also gave our parents vouchers for a meal out, to thank them for their help
