Bridesmaid dress

I could do with a bit of advice here!

When my best friend bought our bridesmaids dresses i had been trying for baby for some time but i didn’t say anything to anyone!

When i announced my pregnancy my bff wasn’t overly impressed as i am going to be very heavily pregnant at the wedding! She was making a fuss about the dress also saying we need to get me a bigger size! Thing is they didn’t have a bigger size and to be honest when we got the dresses it was massive in the boob area as i only have a B cup but a massive stomach so i said the dress would be fine because it is floaty and will go over any bump!

Thing is pre baby bump she said she would pay for any alterations as she knew how big it was in the top area! Now she has said all bridesmaids have to take their dresses to a seamstress to get their own alterations. I really don’t know how to bring up the subject of who has to pay? And if it is possibly to be taken out if need be?

If there is alterations due to the bump i don’t mind paying as not her fault i am pregnant but the dress never fitted me properly pre baby bump and i know from my own wedding how much it cost to get the top altered!

I don’t want to sound petty so may be i should just pay but i know when it was my wedding i offered to pay for any alterations! Thing is none needed altering!!

Argh stress i could do without being so pregnant!

I'd probably just get it done myself. No point waiting for her to remember her original offer or you might risk not having a fitting dress at all!!

It's a pain, is there another bridesmaid you could speak to to see if between you you can raise the subject?
