What style of dress?

I'm completely overwhelmed looking at wedding dresses - can anyone suggest a silhouette that would suit?

I'm short, a maximum of 5ft 6in when wearing heels.
Pear shaped, with excess weight on my stomach
Size 16/18 (but that is being worked on)
Currently an F cup, but I expect that will reduce as my weight does.

I've just got no idea where to start - our local bridal shops are amazing but I find them very intimidating and don't want to go in with no idea of what might suit.

I know it can seems daunting, but grab a trusted friend or two and head to a bridal shop. They are the experts and will be able to advise you on shapes etc. Also, try all sorts of shapes as you will probably be surprised by what works and doesn't work. Happy shopping!

Honestly the only way to know is to try them on. Nobody can tell you!

I had pictured lace dress, sleeves etc but it didn't suit me. I ended up with strapless, fitted then flare. Style of dress I didn't want when I was searching online.

I think your best going in and trying I'm dresses and see what will suit you best.
