Anyone had a small ceremony?

What did you do?
How many guests for day and night?
Was anyone annoyed they hadn't been invited?
What venue did you use?

It's still to take place (early 2018) but it will be just the two of us in registry office then long weekend in a cottage nearby...can't wait!

We got married in a registry office, went back to our home where chef ds made a selection of hot dishes, previously opted by guests, only 2 friends and our dc and 1dp between us!! Less than 20 guests in total. Was great!!

Getting married on Saturday in a small ceremony. There is 8 of us.
Small side chapel at the church then we're going to a Michelin star restaurant for lunch.
No one seems upset that they're not coming!

I got married last nov
28 people at the registry office at 3pm then all 28 back to local hotel for a sit down meal then we had a magicain at 7pm who was out of this world good. He made me belive in magic! Around 8ish we cut the cake and had a massive self serve cheeseboard. At 9.30 we ended the night with a light up baloon release in memory of my mum we got married on her birthday. It was the best day ever! No loud blaring music disco just nice backround music and mingling all night around our table.

But in all seriousness get married for you not everyone else its your day -well and hub to be but sod that its your day- dont be worried about pleasing people just have who you want there and enjoy.

We are getting married next year. We are having a small ish ceremony of about 35 close friends and close family. We are going to a lovely little tea room after for afternoon tea. Its going to be really relaxed and informal. We are then having a party in the evening at a local hotel. We are really looking forward to it and have had no issues with people moaning about not being invited. Yet.
