Hi my sister in law to be has had a crappy hen night due to people not organising it and then not turning up (unfortunately I couldn't go as I just had a baby)

She has ordered her dress online and not tried any on in the shops like you would normally

I have done most of her wedding planning for her as her MOH hasn't bothered

Anyway my point is she has had a pretty rubbish run up to the wedding and she has asked me to do her something old, new and blue...she has the borrowed sorted

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of things I could possibly get as I would like it to be really special

Thank you :)

Remember the sixpence for her shoe too! Can get them from eBay. Can you lend her an old piece of jewellery? My bestie borrowed a piece of jewellery I was given for my 18th as her old - she said it felt personal. I also went to a fancy underwear shop and bought her some lovely blue lacy pants ~that ripped during the day and cost a bloody fortune~ and a matching garter

Ah crossing out fail! Sorry

Oh I forgot about the sixpence Thank you :)

Oh no! How annoying that it ripped

An idea could be to use an old piece of jewellery (either yours or hers or someone special to you/her) and if it doesn't suit her or the dress then to have it attached to her bouquet. My friend had a picture of her dad on hers (he passed away a couple yrs prior to her wedding). Another wedding I went to recently had little charms on the small bridesmaids bouquets with a poem about them keeping the charm for them to use as their something old on their wedding day.

New could be new hairpiece or shoes or underwear. Or the dress.

Blue, are you or anyone you know good with needle & thread? You could sew a small piece of blue ribbon with her wedding date into the inside of her dress (on the seam). Or if her feet won't be seen then blue toenail varnish could be fun.

@ColourfulOrangex yeh delicate fabric and not being able to see your knickers in a massive dress didn't make it easy to see what you're doing!!

Is there an old family brooch she could borrow from a grandma? That would be 2 things done and a sentimental thing.

Forgot to say you can attach the brooch to her bouquet or include it somehow with the actual flowers

@cravingcake I love the date idea

Thank you all for your help, I didn't realise how complicated these things can be!
