So I wanted a mix of burgundy and rose gold. Two bridesmaids in burgundy, other 'bridesmaid' DSD (10) has rose gold dress. Semi naked cake with rose gold, red velvet (burgundy) and a naked tier. Burgundy flowers on the cake.
Burgundy bouquet matching the cake flower. Then invitations and stationery are burgundy and rose gold. Struggling at the minute to find nice burgundy bridesmaid dresses (wedding isn't long off), so today we discussed having navy bridesmaids (still with DSD in rose gold) and burgundy bouquets for them. I'm guessing groom and DS will be in a navy suit (it's a small wedding, not really having other men in suits) and hopefully burgundy ties etc.
Now my friend is saying navy, burgundy and rose gold is a mismatch of colours, i.e. Three totally separate colours. Does anyone agree this will look totally random?
TIA!

I think theyll go nuce together personally
But if it helps you could could all ways go to himebase and get a paint colour strips match the colours your using and youll have a better visual guid to see if you like them.

Navy is far preferable to burgundy in my opinion. Burgundy is a bit of an 80s colour. Navy is classic and chic. It would look lovely with white flowers and a white dress for your dd. Don't allow pashminas for your bridesmaids. They end up look like Victorian beggars.

I think that they will look fine together - classic colours.

Pop over to Style & Beauty for some help finding BM dresses?

I think navy, burgundy and rose gold will look lovely together; very classy. Look on Pinterest, you'll find lots of pics in that colour scheme.
