Make up trial

Have any of you ladies had a make up artist on the day of your wedding as appose to just doing it your self ? I should add I don't wear much make up at al not into the whole contouring stuff and no idea how to do it ! Obviously want to look nice on my wedding day though but wouldn't mind saving money where poss I don't want to look like a different person! Should I just do my usual face when I'm 'getting dressed up' what Lippy do people wear on there wedding day?! I'm clueless to the rules

I did my own make up and just wore my usual favourites as I didn't want to look totally different on my big day. I had booked a make up artist, but after the trial run I didn't even recognise myself, was awful!

I had a make up trial and it made me look like the corpse bride and I'm dark skinned! So my daughter and sister did a make up trial on me to cheer me up and it was so good that I've roped them into doing it on the day!

Did my own hair & make-up on my wedding day. Both head& face behaved well enough!
Can't imagine somebody applying fake lashes etc to me. If you're not a make-up type, do your own.
