No judgement here.

I'll start.

I'm having a golden snitch wedding cake.

Are marauders map invitations too much?
Love the cake btw! I'm going to try and go subtle with our wedding colours (dark winter colours/HP houses) as the main icing and the words "always" and pictures of our patronises. Man, I'm excited

I'd have a full on hogwarts castle if I thought I'd get away with it!

I'm having a marauders map table plan.

A miniature bottle of crystal head vodka at each place setting with a brown label tied round it and Felix Filicis typed onto it. Then their name then our wedding date.

A personalised wand for each of the children.

This is all handmade by the way. So v. cheap.

Also a book bouquet for me and dd.

I want all of the tables named with HP references, and wands and candles and potions and books and I want Hagrid, ok? I want Hagrid to marry us.

We didn't have a themed wedding as such, but I wanted to have some fun with the invitations etc, so we did movie posters as invites (complete with 5 stars ratings and quotes like "best wedding ever" - Telegraph, and "about bloody time!" - The brides' father) and our order of events was a theatre programme, complete with mini-bio's of the lead roles: bride, groom and flower girl, and cast list (including all the guests as the chorus)

I can't actually post pictures as there are all our names all over the place, but I had so much fun putting it together, and it went down really well on the day. We stuck to the film star theme with thank you cards done like Hello- a mini interview on the front, and photos inside complete with cheesy captions and all the cliche phrases! ("The blushing bride looked radiant in a bespoke gown" that sort of thing!)

That will have outed me totally in IRL!

My dh is incredibly boring normal so I am going to have to live vicariously through you.
Those skull bottles are fab. They are screaming out for you to turn the vodka purple somehow and label it "dark mark vodka"

I'll see if I can cover up any identifiers and post them.

I've got sweet jars too. Am going to get a load of those retro sweets and rename them I.e. 'fizzing wizzbees' for the flying saucers things like that.

And I've ordered some HP props off eBay for the photo booth.

I'm doing it all cheapy cheap not spent more than about £150 on 'tat' as dp calls it. Except for the vodka but that's all I'm having.

Omg....if I ever get married I'd love to have a Harry potter theme! I'm jealous of all of these

My wedding would be really outing as it's been in the newspapers but we had the most extreme Harry Potter Wedding I think I know of

My best friend had a Harry Potter themed wedding the favours were chocolate frogs (freddos) table names were each of the books, sweet table with Harry Potter themed sweets, photo booth with home made Harry Potter probs and golden snitch cake pops. It was magical good luck with yours x
