I like this one! Looks lovely, love the sleeves and the belt.

JiminnyCricket · 02/06/2017 15:25

Didn't see your last thread but I'll be honest about this one.

Honestly? It's ok.

It's about an inch too short for you, are you bare foot in the photo? If so, it's 3 inches too short.

You have a knockout waist and the shape of the dress accents that nicely, but the fact it's form fitted on the bottom makes the balance of your body skewed, so you look bigger on the bottom than I suspect you actually are because you have narrower shoulders than a classic hourglass.

The material, neckline, colour and sleeves etc are all perfect but if I were you I'd try on something A-line with the same neckline, it will show off that waist but won't emphasise your bottom half and will balance out your hips to your shoulders.

JiminnyCricket · 02/06/2017 15:33

Just read your other thread, this one was much much much nicer and really suits you!

Here is the original dress. Was going with different belt.

I'm not a huge fan of it - I think it's swamping you a bit.

What's your budget?

Have you looked at Wed2B?

VivienneWestwoodsKnickers · 02/06/2017 15:34

Yes, the original dress is much more flattering and funky.

PurpleDaisies · 02/06/2017 15:34

I much prefer your original dress with the red belt and shoes.

BrightonBelleCat · 02/06/2017 15:35

Yep going with that one. I need to stop looking at the internet in my lunch break.

TrampyCat · 02/06/2017 15:35

I vote for original

CheerBreeder · 02/06/2017 15:35

Honestly I think the one on this thread looks a bit frumpy, the other dress is lovely

thebookeatinggirl · 02/06/2017 15:36

Love the original dress - very flattering and a great look

ThatsWotSheSaid · 02/06/2017 15:37

Love the original dress!

JiminnyCricket · 02/06/2017 15:37

Is it the length of the first one thst's putting you off? I was going for a short style but had a change of heart.

this is similar but floor length if that's the case, although i love the shorter dress on you!

DontBuyANewMumCashmere · 02/06/2017 15:38

Love the original dress with red belt and shoes. Looks lovely!

ThatsWotSheSaid · 02/06/2017 15:38

Where is it from?

BrightonBelleCat · 02/06/2017 15:39

The newer one is from Dorothy Perkins!

I'm going to run it down to the post office in a mo.

Flyingprettycretonnecurtains · 02/06/2017 15:40

Sorry, think it looks a bit net curtainy and emphasises your hips a wee bit much. I like the first one. It has style and charm to it.

Loopytiles · 02/06/2017 15:41

Neither are great IMO, sorry.

BrightonBelleCat · 02/06/2017 15:43

Here was the belt I found.

Schleeping · 02/06/2017 16:00

Don't like the sleeves, looks like a cheap net curtain.

Schleeping · 02/06/2017 16:01

Original miles better

MadisonAvenue · 02/06/2017 16:04

The original one looks lovely, especially with the red accessories.

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 02/06/2017 16:12

Original is far nicer and looks lovely with the red belt and shoes makes you look much slimmer and shows off your fabulous waist.

ScarlettFreestone · 02/06/2017 16:14

The original one is gorgeous and very flattering.
