Band and dj?

Evening reception is 7-midnight. Have booked band who will play for 2 hours (2x60min sets with a half hour break) would you say it is necessary to have a dj for rest of reception or would just an iPod playlist suffice?thanks

Many bands will play your playlist after the set through their system for a bit extra. Best of both worlds?

Be careful of using the venue's sound system if it's designed for background music, it could kill your party stone dead.
