Help! Really struggling for ideas/inspiration for readings! A little background info, have been with my other half nearly 20 years, childhood sweethearts. After lots of heartache we finally have a lovely 4mo ds and are going to make it official with a small registry office ceremony and informal party in our garden after. Am looking for something traditional, classical as I love poetry and something a little more modern and fun. Thanks.

Yeats 'he wishes for the cloths of heaven' - short and beautiful.

Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

The Bargain - Sir Phillip Sidney - lovely old poem
Union - Robert Fulgham
Falling in love is like owning a dog - Taylor Mali, touching and funny prose piece.
I like you - Sandol Stoddard Warburg
Slippery weasel - Ariadne Cass-Maran

Hope you have a lovely day and a brilliant future together.
