In the U.K., I would love a beaded antique-y looking wedding dress, preferably fitted or a fishtail/mermaid shape. Budget £1000 absolute maximum would prefer under £800 is this possible? Please help!

Wed2b have lots of mermaid dresses, I think they are all under £600 too.

Thank you for your replies! The first one is lovely, im not a fan of the tulle on the bottom though. I would prefer not to wear white wed2b didn't seem to have much of a colour range. Maybe I'll try there again though, as their stock changes quite regularly I believe?

Wed2b only really stocks white, try Asos, Chi Chi, Monsoon.

When you say not white do you mean 'off white' or a different colour completely? I'm having a white dress with a sand underlay which creates a nice tone that isn't white white.

I think I'd like an off white/nude/blush colour, I'm open to other colours (pale teal maybe?) but not a vibrant red/blue if that makes sense! Thank you for your suggestions, I'll have a look at those websites.

Okay, my dress is Essense of Australia and was in your budget. I think they have a few with blush underlays if you have a stockist near you. Ronald Joyce do some too but there are a bit more pricey.

I can't link at the moment but I had a dress from Benjamin Roberts that sounds very like you describe. It had a very, very light gold fitted dress, with a lightly beaded antique lace overlay. I paid about £600 for an ex-sample dress. Don't know if they have anything like that at the moment....?
