Essential things? Am I missing anything?

Apart from registry office, dress/suit and rings is there anything that is missing?

We're not big showy people, we don't do PDA and we don't have loads of friends so we want something plain, simple and quiet There would be about 8 people, 4 of those including DP, DS1&2 and me. We'll most probably go out for dinner that evening with people joining us if they want to? We're not looking to spend more than £400 tbh

Flowers? Wedding licence (we needed one in Scotland). Otherwise you sound sorted.

I hadn't thought about them! I put that in with the registry office I think

Registry office - £165
Marriage licence - £70
Dress - £40ish (cheap china one)
Suits - £80 including the boys
Rings - £90 (neither of us are fussed on cost/jewellery anyway so found some nice titanium ones fairly cheap!)
so a tad more than £400

It would be nice to have a bouquet for you and buttonhole for hubby. Register offices often have flower arrangements already, you could ask about that. What about a photographer? You can get one for 2 hours or so to snap the best bits.

Shoes? (I like having an excuse to buy new shoes...)

How are you getting there?

I'd sooner just buy a nice high street non-wedding dress than some dodgy internet cheapo number. Do you want to look bridal? Or will just looking smart/pretty do?
