Reception venues in Hackney/Spitalfields area

Please tell me if you know of any that are lovely. Not for me, but for a very good friend who is a foodie, so quality of catering is important.

Galvin La Chapelle would be spectacular, but not cheap I imagine
Various restaurants in Andaz (hotel by Liverpool Street) - ditto
Shoreditch Town Hall
I believe Christ Church (the Hawksmoor church) can be hired, but it's huge!

Have a look at Arnold & Henderson - catering company run by Fergus Henderson's wife - they have great looking food (in the Fergus Henderson/St John Bread & Wine style) and a list of venues on their website.
