How many confetti cones- are we being stingy?

Wedding is next month and we're running out of budget. We have 100 day guests but about 15 are children. We've done 50 confetti cones - is that enough?

I used to work at weddings (been to 200+) and I think 50 is plenty. Without wishing to sound sexist, men usually aren't that fussed about throwing it. It's mainly the women (particularly the older generation - grannies love a bit of confetti!) Even if more people want to throw it, it's easy enough for people to share amongst themselves.

If money's really tight, then a couple of baskets of confetti or petals (not in cones) offered by flower girls or ushers for people to grab a handful of as they leave the venue works really well to.

I didn't have any (didn't even think about it!) But most of my guests brought their own anyway!
