I may be totally off the mark here but if you received an invitation advising no kids apart from immediate family, what would you class immediate family as?

parents and siblings IMHO

Jackie0 · 20/07/2016 19:01

Nephews & nieces ?
My definition of immediate family is parents children and siblings but in the context you describe that wouldn't make sense.

FadedRed · 20/07/2016 19:01

Parents and siblings, and the DC's of the B&G if they had any.

Batteriesallgone · 20/07/2016 19:02

Kids of siblings allowed would be my interpretation.

Ok so I am having basically an adults only wedding. My son and my OH niece are only kids coming. So on my invites I stated only children would be immediate family children.

I'm being questioned as to why my OH cousins son can't come as he is immediate family?

I was starting to question my own definition so wanted to check I wasn't being totally unreasonable Angry

Parents, husband and own children.
If I had a wedding invite that said children of immediate family children only I would probably pressure neices and nephews but not cousins/cousins children

Parents, grandparents, siblings, nieces & nephews
