Really feeling down today, and could do with some advice.
We ordered rings to be designed by someone that was just starting her business. Long story cut short, she's ended up going out of business and is now in prison for some dodgy stuff they were involved in. I thought my John Lewis wedding insurance would cover it, but they've said they only cover loss or damage. I transferred the money via TransferWise, so can't even get my credit card involved.
Feeling so stupid getting scammed like this - I'm not normally one for this to happen to :(
Is there anything I can do to get this money back? It's not going to be from the vendor, as I'm sure they're completely bankrupt now.
