Getting married in Italy.

Hello.
Looking for some advice/ideas for DBro & his fiancé. They have their hearts set on getting married in Italy. They've been liking at venues on the Amalfi coast, but they're all very expensive. Are there any other areas of Italy that anyone can suggest for getting married? Ideally somewhere coastal. Needs to be someone accessible by direct flight from the USA too.
Also, any tips/things they need to know for an Italian wedding?
Thank you.

I got married in the Alps and it was beautiful. I had relatives fly in from the US. Are they planning to get married in a church? We had to attend a marriage preparation course and proof that I had been baptised and that I hadn't been married before. I think it depends on the priest though. There is also the legal side, there was paperwork that had to be done less than 6 months before the wedding. However I live in Italy, it might be different for non residents.
