Can I wear this to a wedding? (evening only)

This dress is described as grey...is it wearable for an evening invite? It is absolutely beautiful but my husband jokingly says I look like the bride...

It's too bridal and too OTT for an evening guest IMO.

Evening do = glam night out wear.

A risky choice...if the bride and/or bridesmaids have gone for a similar style you'll look like one of the bridal party.

If it were dark grey (like pewter colour) rather than dirty rain cloud grey then knock yourself out. However, the colour in the picture looks too bright and would be too close to bridal colours.

It's utterly gorgeous! Buy it anyway and wear it to another function...

If someone had have turned up to my wedding in that I'd have been a bit pissed off to be honest. You'll get lots of looks and mutt wrings behind your back. Don't do it.
