Wedding Present for a friend who doesn't want anything

Hello, I'm going to an old friend's wedding soon. Really looking forward to seeing her and going along. Only thing is, she says she doesn't want anything.

The wedding is quite a small scale affair and I know that she and her DP are not well off at all, and would maybe like something but don't want to ask.

She likes very bright colourful things, ethnic style patterns and chunky clunky jewellery. I don't know anything about his taste. I also don't know what their home is like as they live in another city and I have never visited.

I want to get them something they will both like, but not expensive (as that would be difficult for me and would also make them feel uncomfortable.)

It's difficult

The best present we had was a framed photo of us on our wedding day. A guest took the photo, the next morning they went to the pharmacy to get it printed out and gave it to us at the hotel over breakfast. It was the only photo we saw of the day for almost a week, it was so thoughtful.

How much would you like to spend?

Sorry, thought I'd replied but for some reason my answer didn't post.

Hannah - that sounds lovely, personal to you and so well thought out and meaningful - unfortunately I'm a bit of a rubbish photographer.

Imperial, I was thinking no more than £25.

thanks

We didn't ask for gifts. We mainly got gift cards but one of our favourite presents was a hamper (in a proper wicker hamper basket!) With food and drink goodies in, some bits like chocolate were personalised.
You could do something like this?
