Wedding dress help!

So I am getting married in 3 weeks time. I tried on my dress with the veil yesterday and found that the veil is catching on the diamanté buttons along the back of the dress.

I'm really worried I'm going to rip a hole in the veil on the day - is there anything I can do to the buttons to stop them catching the veil?

Thanks for any suggestions....

Hi! I work in a bridal boutique, hang your dress up on the back of a door with the train down, run your finger along the buttons and see if there's any raised edges (there really shouldn't be), if there is get a nail file and just lightly buff them, keep chec as you do so you don't ruin the finish. Othe than that there's not a huge amount you can do, if you can, run a warm bath and hang the veil in the steam of the room this will help it lay nicely when you wear it and may help prevent catching.

Last thing, massive congratulations!!

or if you are really worried you could ask a seamstress to change the buttons to plain fabric ones, if that's an option you'd consider.
