Looking to plan a wedding for July 2016. Only need a venue for the evening reception as the wedding will take place late afternoon. Bride wants unusual if possible.

Budget is about 2k for 80 people and within 15 miles of Newcastle . Any recommendations.

St James Park. Been to a Christmas party night there and it was great.

I said that but the groom said no!!

Not unusual but the Hilton Hotel In Gateshead has great views of the Tyne Bridge.

Or perhaps Malmaison on Newcastle Quayside.

I'd be tempted to look at the Baltic Art Gallery too.
