Have you been given a handmade wedding gift?

What was it? Did it mean more to you, being made by the giver? Was it something you would have picked put for yourself otherwise?

I was originally going to only ask about great handmade gifts you've received, then realized it might be good to hear about terrible ones too! So feel free to share any awkward/not your taste/ what the hell is that gifts too.

I have handmade gifts before, it's a lot more personal! I do sculpture so I guess it is a little easier for me though to come up with ideas

I think they're amazing presents- so personal and mean so much more. My sister got given a copper rose made by her blacksmith friend and it's beautiful and she has it on display on a shelf all the time at home- it's lovely and meaningful!
