Wedding gift wording for 'giver away-er'

Struggling what to engrave on the gift for the family member giving me away. Any suggestions other than 'thank you' and the date?

Could you just have exactly that engraved then? 'Thank you for being the one who gave me away', or a variation thereof?

I tend to waffle, so I would personally just put 'thank you so much' and the date, else the whole thing would be covered in the message! But obviously, that's just me

Are you in the UK? Not sure if your name is referring to the country or the food!
