Table names

I've just seen a lovely idea where the tables are named after songs and (assuming it's a serve yourself buffet) When your table song is played it's your turn to go and eat. It doesn't work with our plans but I liked it and wanted to pass it on.

That would piss me off if I was on the table that's song got played last.

True amazing, maybe not the best plan, or maybe have a playlist mounted so at least you knew when to expect?

I'd just miss the song altogether - or possibly not recognise it - or even more probably, not pay adequate attention to which song my table was named after! But I guess it could work for some people.

my brother named the tables after all his favourite bands but thats where the similarity ends. It was a silver service affair with nice little quirks added through out the day.They had funfair stalls to occupy people before dinner. So tombola, coconut shires and candy floss carts etc. Cost an absolute fortune.

Im not over keen on this idea either.
What about the oldies, would they get it?

It would annoy me as I wouldn't recognise the song as I'm hopeless at remembering song names and to dismiss any song I don't like.
