If so where from? Was it amazing/ a disaster? I just don't have the money to shell out on a silly expensive dress. I am most likely going to be headed to an outlet as they have some amazing dresses there for like £400, but I have seen some fabulous dresses online and just wondered really....

A friend of mine bought her wedding dress on eBay from china.

At was a design that she had seen in a magazine, a dress that would have been £9,000+ but she bought a Chinese recreation for less that £100.
It was only a simply dress, a mermaid style lace dress but it was beautiful.
It needed altering slightly, just fitting really, which cost her £20.

If you go for something simple it can't go wrong.
I would definitely consider buying one from there.

I bought mine from M&S in the sale for under £100. Was a simple Grecian style one. Loved it.

I found a gorgeous design on eBay that would be made to measure in China. But the website didn't go up to my (tall) size so I found a similar dressmaking pattern and amended it.

How about speaking to a design/ textiles college to see if they have any talented students that would like a project. Make it a one-off!

My sil got her dress from a website for £300 & it was lovely. Also Monsoon do beautiful bridal dresses for under £400. Be careful about the chinese sizes though as their size 10s are more like a UK 8 so buy one size bigger and adjust it to fit.

I bought my dress from eBay for £50, alterations cost £20, I figured at that price, even if I hated it, I could re-sell it.
