anyone bought the separate tier wedding cake from M&S?

like this one? as do i need to buy the silver cake boards and pillars separately or are they all included?? as its bit confusing!!

Marking place, I'm getting this too! I know you need to buy the pillars too, I assume it comes on the boards?

Another question about mand s cakes i take it you pick it up and then transport it to the venue your self?

You do - I'm delegating this the day before to someone who doesn't drive like a maniac then assembling it myself (although my venue is about 300 metres from my house so I'm fortunate!); my florist is doing the florals in the morning.

Yes! We had those cakes. They are fantastic. Everyone commented on how good they were.

I seem to remember they came on the silver boards and you have to buy the pillars separately. A friend organised it all for us and decorated them with flowers. Nobody guessed they were M&S or if they did they didn't say!

We had these too. We didn't use pillars, but I'm pretty sure you need to buy these separately. When I clicked on the link, they showed as an accessory ad on the right side of the page. My parents collected it the day before and the florist assembled and decorated it for us.

We had these - they'll sell you the pillars. They look and taste lovely, we had loads of compliments.

If you wanted to go a bit smaller to save pennies, they do a block version which can be sliced and served which is much cheaper but still same cake. So you could have a two tier rather than three iyswim. The slicing block wouldn't be displayed but you still have enough cake to go around. Not sure I'm explaining this very well.

We had these, I had medium and Xl sponge and large fruit so used a cake stand I hired.

They do come on silver boards, they do ask you if you are stacking it an provide all the stuff ,pillars and thinner boards I think.

I was questioned a lot as my middle layer was fruit, and had to confirm again an again I had a stand.

Lovely cake! Me and Dh ate the top tier a couple of days after it hasn't been cut, we did have to wrestle it from fil who thought he was having it all and the left over fruit cake.

We had these cakes. They were great. Tasted lovely too. When we ordered our flowers, I asked for a few spare to decorate the cake with. Looked great.

My brothet had the white chocolate ribbon cake from m+s & it was gorgeous. It was a dark choc sponge with choc ganache filling with white chocolate icing.
Very reasonably priced & came already assembled.

We had the fruit cake for our wedding,it was lovely. So glad we didn't spend £££ on a cake! Have since done the same with the Asda equivalent (single one though,for a christening) & it was also v nice. Have a lovely wedding day!
