Hi we are having a really small civil ceremony and we don't want to invite family or friends as we have already done the big indian wedding.
We need 2 witnesses on the 14th Feb this year at 3.15 for half an hour. If anyone is in the area please let me know.

AngelWreakinHavoc · 17/01/2013 14:45

Katz · 17/01/2013 14:46

Wish it was sheffield - I've always wanted to do this

AngelWreakinHavoc · 17/01/2013 14:46

Maybe you should ask on Mumsnet local?

izzyishappilybusy · 17/01/2013 14:48

I'd love to - but your too far away I'd repost with London in the thread title

PurplePidjin · 17/01/2013 15:07

Congratulations Thanks hope you don't mind, I've posted a link to thread on a friend's wall on facebook - she's a mumsnetter in London. I'm sure we can find you some willing volunteers!

Congratulations - that's where we got married too. Smile

Sadly am too far away now.

MmeLindor · 17/01/2013 15:43

Congratulations, hope you find someone (I am too far away or would have loved to have helped)

ethelb · 17/01/2013 15:45

I'm in Putney and I can make it to Westminster on 14 Feb. PM me with details if you want.

Congratulations!

tribpot · 17/01/2013 15:58

So jealous of ethelb, how exciting to be a witness at a 'secret' (sort of) wedding :)

CaseyShraeger · 17/01/2013 16:02

I'm also in Putney (shoots sidelong glance at ethelb) and was about to say I could do it, then I remembered the school run. Darn! I suppose it would be frowned upon to abandon one's children to attend a stranger's wedding, wouldn't it?

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 17/01/2013 18:39

I work down the road from there (not far past edgeware road station) so could pop down easily enough if you still need anyone

FlowerTruck · 23/01/2013 14:19

Please post this on chat, it will get loads more replies and then the witness can give us updates on the day.

Milliways · 13/02/2013 21:02

Hope you got this sorted and have a great day tomorrow :)

XBenedict · 13/02/2013 21:03

Good luck for tomorrow, enjoy your day Smile
