Boys outfits

Getting married in June, on a tight budget.
My twins will be nearly 3 and need to get them outfits.

They are both very boisterous, really can't see them in little suits and it seams a mad expense for a few hours, but I would like them to look part of the wedding iyswim,
My girls are in bridesmaids and eldest ds has chosen his outfit.
Any ideas?

DS also a boisterous 3 at the time wore a lovely pinstriped trousers and waistcoat combo, with a little shirt and tie.

Admittedly after ten minutes everythig was a little awry so he looked more Artful Dodger than Smart Young Man, but still very cute!

It was originally M+S, but I got it from eBay..there are ususally lots there as everyone buys it for a big event and their child never wears it again!

we have a wedding 4th May - have bought DS(2 and 8months) grey suit trousers , waistcoat and blue shirt and tie from next on line - would have prefered the dark blue but not available in his size. Some nice wee linen suits in M&S. Thought Next was ok for quality and price - probably will only be worn the once.

Thanks, the next ones ate lovely but still too pricey for two, I've looked at second hand on eBay but wanted 2 the same.
Just can't imagine my two tolerating a tie, maybe waistcoats at a push :)

My DS wore something like this for our wedding, from Debenhams

Then he just had black trousers on with it as in the picture, they were from Debenhams too but maybe you could get black school trousers from somewhere like tesco, I think they start quite small.

Would still add up to quite a bit for two though.

I saw some bridemaids dresses in Matalan the other day, not sure if they had anything for boys.

My DS's wore grey trousers and white shirts to ours, it was quite a casual affair tho!

I once put all mine in Blue twill (smart) knee length shorts and cream polo tops for a summer wedding. Sounds very casual but looked lovely and smart.

The tie stayed on because he thought it was overwhelmingly grown up to look the way Daddy does to go to work...

I was going to suggest waist coat as well
