...rather than writing them by hand? One would be so much less time-consuming than the other....thoughts? Smile

It is mo,re important that you hand write the invites than the envelopes.

LizaTarbucksNonSmokingAuntie · 17/10/2011 13:50

could you not print the envelopes?

EdithWeston · 17/10/2011 13:55

YANBU - and I'm usually a traditionalist.

What is inside the envelope is much more important than how the address is written. If you have any particularly elderly (or rich and crusty) relatives who would appreciate the gesture and who you would like to please, then you could always hand-write those few.

Hmm, thanks folks, but asked DP if he was worried either way, and he was adamant that we had to do hand-written. So better get cracking....

Share the task!

He does his side of the invitation list in whatever way he thinks is suitable. You print yours.

alarkaspree · 18/10/2011 12:55

Let your dp write them then...

I agree with you and the others, but his opinion is more important than ours on this issue.

VenetiaLanyon · 18/10/2011 15:27

definitely will be sharing the load Grin; and at least I know that I have my half of the list's addresses
