I'm not getting hitched till August 2012 but it's ver ver quiet at work right now so am hoping to get some research done Grin

Any suggestions gratefully received!

We used these people www.sugarpeppercooks.co.uk/ several years ago and were very happy with them.

Thank you! If it's not rude to ask, how much did they charge per head? I'm trying to get an idea of costs...

Managed to find a couple of receipts (turns out our wedding was in 2004- can that really be right?!) I think it worked out to about £30 per head for 2 courses (my MIL did the wedding cake and we used that for dessert). That was for a sit down meal (choice of 2 starters and 2 main courses) for 25. Have fun planning!

Complete Catering in Wantage:-
www.completecatering.co.uk/Default.aspx

They're a family business and were an absolute dream to deal with.

Prices for 2008 wedding were:-
Canapes, carvery, dessert, cheese board and coffees - £31.35 per head
Hog roast with rolls, salads and pickles and things - £12.50

Everyone still comments on how good the food was (not how beautiful the bride looked!).
