Flower Girl Dresses

Hello,
Yesterday I found a gorgeous little flower girl dress that I think will be fab for my one little flower girl. the only problem being it is quite white but my dress is almost cream (its lace) although it is technically called Ivory which is what the flower girl dress is. How closely do people usually match up flower girl dresses? I would imagine its difficult to find an exact perfect match but would this bother anyone else? I think the little girl will love it too as it has butterflies on it with a little matching bag, it's so cute. I bought a creamy coloured dress from monsoon as a back up but its not as nice. Any opinions?

I got my little bridesmaid/flower girl a dress from sainsburys. it was cream based with purple flowers on( they were light purple). her mum had my maid of honour had a purple dress from john lewis and i had ivory as my colour. we had thistles in our flowers but i went for what i liked ( and my bridesmaids) and not what really matched.

Go with the one you like. Chances are it won't show in the photos and will be covered in grass and chocolate stains by the end of the day Grin

Could you get a bit of cream lace the same colour as yours and use it as a sash around the waist of the flower girl's dress to tie it in?

Thanks guys, feel a bit better about it now. I don't think a sash will work as it already has a sash around it which bows at the back. My dress would be quite difficult to match with anything I think, it's not satin, it's lace all over with a creamy type material underneath so even a cotton type dress won't look a perfect match so im going to try not to worry about it to much
