How do you book a stripper?

I'm helping organise a hen night, and have been asked to book a male stripper. [bushock]

I have no clue where to start!

The bride-to-be definietly expects one (I would be mortified personally, but then I hate everyone looking at me, and my lovely friend has no issues on that front!)

A friend of a friend did recommend a guy to me, and he sounded great (really good looking huge black guy, dressed as copper, very funny, played great music) but getting his phone number out of them is proving impossible for some reason.

Can anyone recommend someone they've actually seen, or give me a clue as to how to go about this?

TIA [bugrin]

I booked one for a hen night once, I just googled - stripper + my area

I'm just a bit worried about doing that as I heard about someone who did that and the guy who turned up wasn't the guy they'd seen on the website at all!

How do you know which ones to trust? Those websites all look really shonky!

We want to book someone good looking, and a laugh who's doing it at least slightly tongue in cheek (Definitely not someone who takes themselves too seriously!).

It would be awful if some vain guy just turned up and waggled his bits at us!

(Am I over-thinking this?!)

You could get

well I went for a gorilla one, so it was funny even if he did come and wasn't that nice, lol

but you pay most of it on the night to him anyway, they only took a deposit beforehand - so if he came and was rubbish you could not pay him, rofl

Yeah, I would just google it, try and go for an actual company rather than an individual just advertising themselves?

ZacharyQuack hee hee that's exactly the scene my friend was on about when I mentioned this, I never watched Friends - I was having a hard time imagining Danny DeVito as a stripper! I see what she was talking about now, very funny Smile
