how much Shock, I need to hire 5 didn't realise it would be approx £700 including deposit - yikes.

That's more than my dress and alterations and shoes cost Blush.

this is with Moss hire are they the normal price?

Any advice anyone.

Its a tricky one as they are not cheap, the cheapest I've seen is around £99pp so you could probably try elsewhere (although having said that, my hb wore both as an usher and the moss bros one was the best fitting).

Do you have to have morning suits? Its just that you can pick up really nice suits for the same price as hiring which can double as gifts? Just a thought!

Please make sure you get them from a good shop. I went to a wedding where the men were dressed in the shabbiest hire suits you can imagine. Half of them didn't fit properly and they had pilling and shiny patches.

jojo - I just had the same thought about buying normal suits at least they will be worn again.

nocake - I totally agree was astonished at the quality of the shirts that came with some of them at another wedding -

Shiny- Thats what we did, my hb had a 3 piece suit made for him so cost an arm and a leg but he has already worn it three times since our wedding in June (whereas my dress...!). He then asked his ushers just to wear a black suit and black ties (we had a bit of a glam rat pack type thing going on) and said we'd give them £100 towards it but they all had these anyway.

If you want more of a traditional morning suit look then maybe go with grey suits?

Hi jojosmaman - well I have bought suits for everyone and shirts and ties, and it has saved a bundle, I got them from M&S so they are ok quality and look quite good - they're not Saville row but hey you can't have everything.

Thanks for replying, sorry about the delay in a mad panic as wedding fast approaching.
