West Coast Scotland next few days?

Anyone got a view on this? I'm supposed to be camping on the seashore near Arisaig from Sunday onwards and the local forecast tonight was pretty grim for Sunday - gale force winds and heavy rain. The word 'autumnal' was used . Any thoughts on how accurate this is? I could cancel and go to the east coast if that would be better!

I am in Lanarkshire it is Windy here but not gale force and mild not Autumnal i cant see it being any worse on the West coast

There's a metoffice weather warning out for Scotland tomorrow, for gales and from the weather forecast I saw this morning on News 24, there looks like there's going to be significant rainfall. I think it all dies down in the days after that though.

Thanks everyone - I'm near Edinburgh and it's been very very windy here today, and the forecast looks wild for Arisaig tomorrow. So I've postponed the camping. It's my first trip with the DCs and I want them to enjoy it and I don't think they will in this weather (plus I don't fancy putting the tent up in gale.) Oh well, better luck next time!

Arisaig is beautiful for camping so if you can just postpone for a few days. There is a big storm brewing and it is going to be very windy. Not Autumnal though, well not in temperature perhaps the wind is though.
