It has been raining for hours now

It rained in York from about 10:30pm for a few hours. Sunny now. At least it stopped the sprinkler brigade here last night.

It rained heavily through the night and was overcast at 7am but has brightened up nicely now, still a bit cooler than yesterday though.

Yup, we have it too. And all last night too. To be fair it needed to rain it was so stuffy and heavy yesterday it was unbearable. Just walking to the vets a few minutes away was too much for the dog. He spent the rest of the night laid on the cold tiled floor in the bathroom panting.

We had torrential rain last night and it's cleared now leaving blue skies The garden looks better for the water though.

it's glorious again here now. Washing is out.

One extreme to the other

the rain overnight didn't cool us down though. Blue skies now with just a few whispy white clouds. Long may it last!

Got about 16 hours here, now am roasting again.

it was heavy overnight, then drizzlt til lunch time then grey, but by 15.30 it was glorious again!

At least the house is a bit cooler now though.
