Oh my, it's hot today!

Here in Leicester, the car temperature gauge and the little terracotta one I have in the garden have just hit 30C!
What are the temperatures like for everyone else?

We have a chilly breeze and rain clouds are gathering. Bloody coast.

I live two streets away from the beach and it's up there in the low thirties. I HATE it!!

We have a thermometer in full sun and about nine this morning it was reading 35. Not sure what the 'real' temp. is though. (Worcestershire).

That's a bummer treedelivery. Temperatures near some coasts seem to be quite a bit down than in the rest of the country.

It's always chilly and breezy here though hardly ever rains. Am on the Yorshire coast about 2 miles from the sea, in a micro climate

Not sure what the temp is but it's lovely and warm here in Essex. DD & DC are playing in the paddling pool and I've been sunning myself on the patio in my bikini bottoms - trying to change my "white as a sheet" look . Just wish we weren't overlooked .

usualsuspect- Cheers~ just poured one for myself too! Garden thermometer's saying it's 31 now; car says it's 32 (but it's in full sun.)

our max (in a proper screened thermometer) is 22.5C
funnily enough it feels warmer than that.
26C inside which is a little silly but I'm not complaining!

zandy - in full sun generally your thermometer is mostly measuring its ability to absorb heat.

some sharp little showers setting up on ne england and eastern side of scotland I see.
