Well, for weather watchers its going to be an interesting week. Once again some of the models are favouring a break down mid week, starting from the south and west. Surface temps will probably remain cold but temps aloft look to warm as a low comes in from the SW. If it comes off.
It could be horrible in the south mid week. Mix of rain (potentially freezing), sleet and snow. At the moment noone knows what will happen forecasts will be best guesses until more of the models become consistent with each other.
Not all models even think that it will breakdown. some still favour cold. The other question will be, if it does get milder how far north will it extend? who knows....
