What Weather App have you found best for accuracy predicting the weather a day or two in advance?

I’m just wondering what Weather App you consider the best for accuracy, a couple of days in advance please ?

Met office isn’t bad. BBC is awful.

Met office is usually the most reliable.

Met office here as well. The BBC stopped using the Met office a few years ago.

It’s really for rain prediction.

Met Office here too. I've renamed Accu-Weather as Inaccu-Weather because it's so useless here, particularly for rain, in my experience. Weather&Radar is good for the next few hours.

I find Clearoutside reliable though not as easy to use/read as some of the others

Met office BUT make sure you look at the map forecast with clouds / rain etc as it gives a far better idea of whether it’s a huge, inexorable bank of rain moving across the whole country and likely unavoidable, or if it’s a few scattered showers that might or might not hit you.

I use the Windy app (free version) and the 2 (of many) views I use the most are "Rain Accumulation" and the "Weather radar". The rain accumulation shows you how much rain is expected to fall in certain areas over a 12hr, 24hr, 2, 4, 8 day period - it helps sometimes when I'm planning to go away in my campervan and want to pick a location that avoids the rain as far as possible. The weather radar I use every day to help time my daily dog walks. I use the yr.no app and find that pretty accurate for rainfall over a 2 day period. The BBC app is totally useless.

There's also Rain Viewer which is specifically a radar app... for rain which is very good IMHO.

I have to say the 4 weather apps I used today did not predict the bit of rain we got. 😡
Admittedly it was only a little bit but….

Met Office.

BBC Weather is crap. It vastly overemphasises the likelihood of rain. Even if there is a < 50% probability for just a couple of hours, it still indicates ‘rain’ as the summary of the day’s weather. People who run outdoor visitor attractions have been asking them to change it for years, but it hasn’t improved.

Met Office isn't good re rainfall here (NW coast). BBC is diabolical all round.

I use Weather Radar for rain and Met Office for temps (as I like 'feels like' to be shown).

I find the Apple weather app fairly good for indicating when you’re going to get rain, both over the day and within the next hour. Met Office one is pretty good too, BBC one always looks like doom and gloom when it’s only a 50% chance of rain.
