I've got heated Blankets to go on the mattresses. Hot water bottles. I need to put up a couple of curtain rails to try and keep heat in.

What else?
Pile of books perfect for reading in winter?

A heated throw for the sofa is a must in my old, cold apartment. I have a lovely one from Lakeland.

Lamps/fairy lights/candles - something to make it cosy.

New slippers/wooly socks

Wheat bag rather than hot water bottle

Some new puzzles

Last year I invested in some more lamps, including some rechargeable LED lamps for places without sockets nearby, fairy lights and candles. I used them as much as possible as an alternative to the harsh overhead lights and found the winter much more bearable. I think the lights tricked my brain into thinking 'cosy' rather than 'dark and miserable'. Made a huge difference to my mental health.

This year I am looking at some thermal Base layers as I have a very underactive thyroid and am often cold in the winter. I've also bought a couple of good priced new merino sweaters from vinted over the summer.

If I am wearing a dress with opaque tights I often stick a pair of chub rub shorts over the top if I am working from home. The extra layer really helps. Ditto two pairs of socks and I will be embracing the current trend for silky scarves tied at the neck as this has helped in the past too.

Planting bulbs and autumn/ winter flowering bedding plants.
I’ve bought some autumnal work clothes - cord dresses in burgundy and rust and some crew-neck cardigans in berry and soft grey and also tan knee high boots. I’ll be stewing apples and making cakes, crumbles and cinnamon overnight oats soon too.
