Supposed to be travelling up North today but just wondering what the road conditions are like and if there’s been heavy snow? All the weather reports are saying slightly different so would be good to have local knowledge. Thank you 🙏

Bit further south, but it's currently closed round Darlington/Low Coniscliffe according to local social media.

Yes, there has been heavy snow, and several places have delayed opening, or closed for the day (both airports, a shopping park, Beamish museum etc)
