If you are looking for ski snow, I saw a long range forecast for winter in Europe earlier today which was predicting great ski conditions in the Alps and (the ones between Spain and France - Pyrenees?) this winter.

But the same forecast was showing wetter and warmer than averages for UK/Ireland for both Nov (more so) and Dec, and only getting to avg temps in Jan and colder than normal in Feb. And also drier than average in Feb.

Well this weekends FIS Men’s Downhill ski racing on Italian/Swiss border was cancelled yesterday due to the blizzard conditions, so that’s a good start to the ski season. The conditions for the women’s races in Levi, Norway, were perfect.
